Hello! I am so glad you are here! If there is anything you should know about me, it would be I am adventurous and I love anything that involves the outdoors.
From the photo to the left, you can most likely guess I am a nurse! I graduated in May of 2022 with my RN. But fun fact, I actually ended up in the Emergency Room! I decided to become a nurse because I love helping people and being that person who made a difference in their life - whether I knew I made a difference or not.
You’re probably wondering how I got into photography. Well…
I got into photography during the height of the pandemic in 2020. I was so consumed with work and everything was closed so there wasn’t really anything for me to do when I did happen to have a few days off of work.
My fiancé, Blake, got me a camera and the rest is history. I did a few sessions, took a couple of classes on editing and really just figured out the rest on my own! I fell in love with photography because it allowed me to be creative in a way I never knew I possessed. I’ve always been creative, but the words never flowed the way I hoped they would and the artistic ability just never clicked with me on paper. But when I picked up my camera and learned a few things about photography - it just came natural.
Growing up, my family used to do the little home videos on a camcorder and we have those memories to look back on. I want to be that person for my clients - capturing memories for you to look back on 20 years down the road. Maybe one day I can also make this my full time job.
Blake and I reside in the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley with our two huskies - Atlas and Maverick. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me at the gym, walking our dogs, finding cute little coffee shops around the area or enjoying the gorgeous sunsets on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Emily did such a lovely job with our photos! She had great ideas, gave us great options of nice shooting places and was so easy to be in front of the camera with. If you need photos done, she’s your girl!! Also, she was so kind and printed off a few of our favorite prints and even framed them for us.
The most fun photographer for my senior photos! She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera!
